Brazil's flag

The colors of the Brazilian flag are green, yellow, blue and white. Green represents the nature, yellow the gold, blue the sky and each white star represents one of the states and the Federal District. The inscription “Ordem e Progresso” comes from a positive French team "L'amour pour principe et l'ordre pour base; le progrès pour but". It means Love in the beginning, order as a foundation and progress in the end.

  1. I love the colors of your flag!. I never paid attention to the stars. My flag has red which means blood. I still don't feel like explaining that to my 6yo daughter. Your flag has a better meaning! Thanks for sharing.

  2. Thank you! Your flag is also beautiful! You could tell her just one part, that the red represents valor, honor, generosity and victory. The other detail you could let her know some years from now :)
